Join Melissa Smicker, Master of Nutrition Education and Certified CACFP Child Nutrition Professional for a fun and informative evening exploring criteria for whole grain-rich. Learn why serving whole grain-rich is important, how to determine if the grains you are serving are whole grain-rich, and the CACFP required serving sizes for age groups 1-2, 3-5, and 6+. We'll look at lots of different grain products on the market to see if they meet the whole grain-rich criteria for CACFP. Class begins promptly at 6:30pm.
